How to Take Action On Your Business Ideas

Do you ever feel like your brain is going a million miles a minute? You have so many ideas for your business. You’re a creative entrepreneur, after all, and that’s what you do. You create. You dream in courses, newsletters, podcasts, ebooks and content upgrades. How do you find time for it all? What should you implement first? Is this idea relevant to your brand?

Stop spinning your wheels and start taking action.

In order to evaluate whether your latest idea is worth pursuing, consider these questions:

  1. Is it something you’ll enjoy doing?
  2. Are you able to provide value?
  3. Are you able to monetize?
  4. Is it something your audience actually wants?
  5. Can you expand your dream client/reader/customer reach?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, your idea is legitimately worth taking a chance on.

Now, what should you work on first? Personally, I believe it’s wise to work on the option that will provide the quickest means of compensation. For me, that’s whatever will make me money the quickest. (Girl’s gotta pay her student loans!)

Don’t sit around and wait for that paycheck to come, earn it.

Another smart factor to think about is whether your idea will increase your visibility. Will it grow your audience and make others value your expertise? When you have a larger audience, the more people you are able to positively impact AND the more people you’re able to market your service and/or product to.

Once you have an action plan in place, it’s easy to sit and wait for your idea to fully form into your perfect vision. Your service or product will never be 100% perfect. The longer you wait the more likely you’ll become distracted and put that idea in your back pocket.

The world needs your creation. Don’t hold back out of fear.
