When You Don’t Feel Supported in Business

Some people just don’t get this creative entrepreneur life. Their words crush your spirit when you tell them of your big dreams. “That’s a great idea, but is it really possible?” Or “Can you actually afford that?” They could be a significant other, a parent, a family member or even a close friend. These people have good intentions and they want the best for you, but they still don’t get it.

A few years ago when I announced to a group of friends that I was going to start my own business, one friend piped up and said “But isn’t that HARD?” Um, yes. I never declared it was going to be an easy road, but I surely haven’t let that stop me!

Don’t let small minds prevent you from living out your purpose.

Then there are the people that see the way you smile more when you talk about your passion. They understand the bravery it takes to push through the fear. Hold these people tightly and don’t ever let them go. They’ll need you as much as you need them!

You’re going to have people make you second guess yourself, no doubt. Counteract by cultivating a pack that fully supports your wildest dreams, encourages you and understands the entrepreneur life you are embarking upon.
