The HMD Brand Experience Process
Move Your Business Forward in Just 3 Simple Steps!
Step 01: Groundwork
We'll being our partnership by having you fill out a Brand Questionnaire where you'll share with me all the details about your target client, offerings, business, and story. We'll pow wow 1:1 in a 60-minute Kickoff Session to hone in on your client base + goals before I get to designing.
Step 02: Concept + Design
Using all the goodness collected from the Groundwork phase, I start creating. Once I'm finished, I'll deliver your first design proof for you to examine thoroughly. Based on your feedback, I'll fine-tune and finalize all design elements to pixel perfection.
Step 03: Approval + Launch
After giving your seal of approval on everything we've created together, I'll hand over your finished design files along with tools to help you implement and maintain your new and improved brand. Finally, it's time to celebrate because you just launched!

Questions & Answers
How long does the process take?
On average, my brand experiences will have us working together two full months from Groundwork to Launch, and is dependent upon your dedicated participation thoroughout our time together.
Which website platform do you use?
I design using ShowIt and Squarespace because my clients find those platforms best suite their needs + is easy to maintain. I pride myself in customizing your website around you—there are no cookie cutter templates here! Both ShowIt and Squarespace have excellent training guides and videos so you're never in the dark.
Do you work with any other website platforms?
At this time, I only work with ShowIt and Squarespace websites. If a different platform better suites your goals, I'm happy to work together on your visual brand and send you references for trusted professionals who can develop a beautiful + functional website of your choice.
How do I know you can capture my style?
My main purpose as a brand + web designer is to unearth your core values, heart + story so I can translate my discoveries into a one-of-a-kind creation. During all of my signature brand experiences, your participation in the Brand Groundwork Questionnaire and Brand Kickoff Session are instrumental in our journey to a visual brand that makes you proud.
How does payment work?
All design experiences require a 50% retainer to secure your spot in my schedule. The remaining 50% will be due prior to completion, before delivery of final files. Need an alternate payment plan? Send me an email!
What do I need to get started?
All you need is a desire to move your business forward, willingness to participate in the brand process wholeheartedly, and—if we're designing a website—copywriting + images.
Do you offer other design services?
While brand experiences are my signature offerings, I do offer other design services like my Custom & Cohesive Marketing Graphics + Pre-Styled Brand Suites. Have something particular in mind? I'd love to hear from you!
Are you booking new clients?
Sure am! In order to serve you well, I only take on a limited amount of clients a month on a first come, first serve basis.
